Greg Burney, also known as “FireSide Santa” and “Santa Greg,” loves to put smiles on people’s faces and bring happiness and joy to the young and the young at heart. His Christian values, gift of entertaining, and true southern upbringing makes him a genuine Santa Claus.

As a Real Bearded and Certified Professional Santa, Greg has been performing in Colorado as Santa since the birth of his second grandson in December of 2020.

Santa Greg is no stranger to entertaining; he could be seen performing renditions of “The Night Before Christmas” to his co-workers and friends at Christmas events, was a puppeteer and chorister for his church, and was a lead singer in a 70’s rock band.

He comes from a long line of performers, from his great-grandfather who played Santa Claus for the family, his grandfather who owned a traveling roller rink, to his mother who played piano and bells at church.

Santa Greg is a graduate of the Professional Santa Claus School in Denver, received training from Ed Taylor’s World Wide Santa Claus Network, and is a member of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS). He has also served as a mentor to aspiring Santas.
